Kiwanis Fund Raising Project at Lambton Mall

The Kiwanis Club of Sarnia is selling Claxton Fruit Cake at the Lambton Mall on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from now  until December 15 unless we sell out before then. .  We have a table in the Children’s Play Court area.

Prices for the Claxton Fruit Cake are unchanged from last year. 1 lb cake sells for $7 and a 3 lb box is available for $19

We also have a few Sarnia Souvenir Afghans left at $50.

New this year - The Hockey Hall of Fame has allowed us to sell their Official Hall of Fame Game. It is a fast-paced board game of skill, strategy, knowledge and luck that the entire family will enjoy playing. The game contains hundreds of fascinating trivia questions about the greatest and fastest game on Earth. Suitable for all ages. Cost is $30. We have pre-ordered a few games and if these sell out we will take orders for delivery before Christmas.

Again this year the Kiwanis Club of Sarnia will be at the Big Sisters Show and Sale at SCITS on Nov 12th from 9 am - 5 pm and Sunday 11 am - 4 pm to sell Claxton Fruit Cake and our Souvenir Sarnia Afghans.

Staples BBQ September 3 & 4, 2011

Again this year the Kiwanis Clubs in Lambton county will be having a BBQ at the Sarnia Staples Store on London Road from 11 am-3 pm on  Saturday September 3rd and Sunday September 4th.  As you are hurrying around shopping take a moment to buy a hamburger or hot dog and support the many projects of Kiwanis in Lambton County.

Hello Fellow Kiwanians!
Well, it is here - the 94th Eastern Canada and Caribbean District of Kiwanis Convention is upon us.
All the Lt. Governor Designates are gathered and participating in the 2 days of education to prepare us for our year as LG. We have had wonderful speakers and below are pictures of 2 wonderful gentlemen who are sharing their knowledge about Kiwanis and Leadership.

Kiwanis One Day 2011

The Kiwanis Club of Sarnia along with the Sarnia Lambton Golden K participated in Kiwanis One Day at the Lochiel Kiwanis Community Centre (LKCC).  Each year, Kiwanis clubs around the world join in a day of service and this year it was held on April 2.
This year the two clubs joined together to do some painting and touch ups at the LKCC.  A fun day was enjoyed by all and the community centre walls looked much improved.
